3 Reasons Why I Haven't Bleached My Hair

Hello loves!

So,I've dyed my hair quite a few times in the past because I really dislike my own natural color. However,the one thing I haven't done is bleach my hair. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm so young and my mum would never let me do this anyway but there are quite a few other reasons that I don't want to bleach my hair.

It's expensive!

I've read that the best way to get your hair bleached is professionally at a real salon to help prevent damage,which is pretty understandable,but it costs a lot of money.Getting your hair bleached fully at a salon can cost some where between £50-£60 and maybe even more,depending on the salon.I can think of a lot more better things to spend £60 on! Unless you're Miley Cyrus and you can afford those things, I's give that a miss.Of course,you can just go to a drug store and buy your own bleach and go all DIY on your hair,but that's apparently much more damaging.

It is extremely damaging

I here some of my friends complain about how awful their hair feels and looks after they have tried to bleach it,which is one of the main reasons I refuse to do it.Bleaching your hair is one of the worst things you can do to it because of the amount of damage it brings to your hair and make it very brittle and it will take a very long time to regain healthiness. 

I don't want orange hair

There is always a chance with any type of hair dying that it can go very wrong and not turn out the way you want it to.My hair is pretty dark and if I were to bleach it,it would probably end up looking like I had just poured tomato soup over my head.If you try to bleach your hair when it's quite dark,it may not go the color that you want it and it might even go orange.Trust me,I've seen it happen.A girl I use to know had dyed her hair red before but she had blonde roots growing out.So,when she bleached her hair,the roots were extremely light and the back was,well,orange.It kind of looked like her head was on fire and I certainly do not want to look like that.

I am in no way saying that bleached hair doesn't look nice or saying that you can't do it.Of course,I think that bleached hair looks amazing on some people but I personally would not do it because of these reasons.
