My mum came back from the supermarket yesterday looking excited because she had bought these new berries that we'd never tried before.It's a mix of dried cranberries and another fruit that I have completely forgotten the name of(helpful,I know).I mixed them in with my usual bowl of porridge and it actually tasted pretty nice,so I can now add this to my list of weird and wonderful porridge creations.Another thing that I've been loving recently is the Innocent juices,especially the apple and mango flavor.I also love these because each 200 ml counts as one of your 5 a day,great!

This Weeks Happy Thoughts

Yes,we are 'that' geeky family who own a National Trust membership and yesterday we visited Calke Abbey.My parents went a few years ago and I didn't get the chance to go,so I defiantly wanted to go this time.I find old houses so fascinating and I love looking at how people use to live in older times and this one was extra special because everything had been left the exact way it was years and years ago.Most houses have been re-furnished and things have been changed,however this one wasn't.It's a beautiful place to go and it's super cheap too.

My fingers are not broken!Some of you know that I'm an athlete and last week I competed in a long jump competition.The sand in the sand pit was really hard and when landing,I bent my fingers back quite a bit.I couldn't bend them when I got up and I thought that they were actually badly injured because of the pain.Luckily after a few days,I managed to be able to bend them again and the bruising went away.Phew! 

The weather this week,has been beautiful.That is all.
