Prom 2015

So I've been waiting to write this post for a really long time now.Last night I had my school leavers prom,which me and my friends had obviously been preparing for literally months.I must say that I'm so sad that it's all over and it was really eventful and such a beautiful night.

I started getting ready in the morning because I had a job interview in the afternoon (I got the job,woohoo) and I didn't want to be behind on everything.I took a bath and put on a face mask then went down to do my nails.I really did want to have acrylics for prom however I get bored of long nails easily and it costs way too much to continue to have them filled in.Instead I just bought a pack of false nails,3 of which I lost through out the night and at the after party.

I then put on more fake tan,obviously because I'm such a tan addict and I didn't think I was tanned enough.There wasn't that much I could do until after my interview in the afternoon because all I really needed was my hair and make-up.

When I came back from my interview my Aunt came to do my hair because she's a mobile hair dresser and I decided to do my own make-up,I don't like other people touching my face really...My hair was styled sort of vintage like,almost like a Marilyn Munroe look.For my make-up I did a smoky brown eye look and had really thick,bold eye lashes with liquid eye-liner.I then finished with a coral lip colour to brighten everything up.

My dress I got off of a prom shop on the internet and it was pretty much plain but with lace down the sides of it and a high neck.I wore some open toe,platform heels which absolutely killed my feet.I had to take my shoes off multiple times due to the fact that i though my feet might actually give in and crumble away.

For my accessories I got them all from NEXT.I wore a silver,chunky bracelet and had a sparkly silver clutch bag.My clutch bag had a silver shoulder chain on it but I had to keep tucking it inside the bag because I didn't really want to use it and I thought it would be more classy to just hold it.

Prom was really good and it was just sort of like a really posh party.It finished at about 11 and that's when me and my friends went to the after prom party.I do not drink alcohol at all because I really do not like it and I'm not even ashamed to admit that I'm scared of getting drunk,because I actually am.Being around lots of drunken people though was just as good I thought because I was still really happy just seeing everybody else have a good time.We left the party really early in the morning and that's when I fell over and almost broke my ankle.I was the only one who did not drink a thing and I fell over,twisted my ankle AND fell off of a wall.

Only me.
