Warm welcoming's loves,
it is the season to be jolly and I am most definitely in the Christmas spirit. Me and my family painted the house Christmas on Sunday and last night my parents bought all of the food for Christmas and I could not be more excited. I actually got excited on the fist day of December when I opened my advent calender but that's a different story...
So anyway,my mum took a trip to The Range on Saturday and she purchased some of the prettiest things ever. Before I show you some of the things I must say that The Range is practically heaven for shoppers because it sells basically everything and if you haven't been there then I suggest you find your way down there, you won't regret it.
This has a switch on the bottom of it so you don't even need to worry about fire.Beautiful and safe.
This is a very very posh candle holder and it looks so lovely when it's actually lit up.I think this cost about £7.
Who doesn't love baubles and robins?
This is my absolute favorite thing in my house at the moment because it's so pretty. You can also get heart shaped one (which I have in my bedroom but the hearts don't have the lights in them, sadly.
We weren't actually supposed to buy this but it was only £10 and it has Santa clause in it so why not.
All of these items cost no more than £15 and they're all so lovely, you literally cannot say no.
Moving on to the second part of this post, decorating your house may be ticked off on your Christmas checklist, but is getting all of your presents for your friends and loved ones?Maybe not.Don't even worry, some people go out on Christmas Eve and buy their children presents,it's completely fine.
My boyfriend is quite possibly the hardest person in the entire world to buy presents for.I always struggle because every single time I ask him what he wants,he does the whole "Oh no,don't get me anything" thing. We all know that when somebody tells you not to get them something they still actually want you to get something because I guarantee if I don't buy him something,he will be mad.It gets even harder because my boyfriend doesn't like chocolate, many sweets and also he won't let me buy him any clothes or shoes.Yeah,I know.
This is our first Christmas together so I want to get him something kind of special,so I had a lovely little idea of getting him a nice photo frame with a picture of us two together in it.I think this gift is so thoughtful and you really can't go wrong with it.Who in the world can say that they don't like photos and photo frames? Not many people. If you don't have a photo with your loved one, then you could just put a quote or poem that means something special to both of you inside of it.
Now,you need to add in something edible because it's pretty much the rule of Christmas gifts.Like I said,Ethan does not like chocolate or sweets, but he does like hot chocolate and marshmallows.I saw this adorable DIY gift idea on We Heart It and I instantly added it to his list. All you need is a jar,hot chocolate powder, marshmallows, chocolate drops and maybe some peppermints to add in too.Pour in some hot chocolate powder, then layer on top the marshmallows, chocolate drops and peppermints on top. This perfect for the cold days and it shows that you've actually put some effort into the gift.
I actually think this gift is a really nice thing to give to anybody for Christmas because it's thoughtful and handmade.
Now,also on Ethan's little list is a batch of gingerbread men.Gingerbread men are a tradition at Christmas I feel,so they really fit in withe the whole theme.I was actually going to buy some from the supermarket but I've decided to be brave and attempt making my own before giving up. There are gingerbread men recipes all over the internet,so you can just look for a simple one. This gift is also perfect for pretty much anybody,
I hope you find a lovely present for all of your loved ones and I hope I sort of helped. Have a lovely Christmas darlings.
Le x
