Cucumber Eyes

Hello hello hello.
I think I keep telling you about how stressed and tired and all that stuff I am at the moment because of exams. I'm kind of dealing with the inside stuff okay but it's actually starting to effect my outside and how I look because I'm just so tired. On my travels around the internet,I found a few handy little things that I have started doing to try and improve the way I look whilst I'm doing my exams and revising. One of my main problems at the moment is my grey/purple eyes from no sleep so I wanted to find something natural that I could make to help them out a little bit.On my absolute favourite make-up artists Youtube channel ever (Michelle Phan) I found this video where she makes these simple little cucumber eye patches.Obviously,I'm going to pass this on and share it with you.

All you will need is a cucumber, some round cotton pads,a blender or blend stick, some zip lock freezer bags and a sieve.
Firstly you need to cut up some cucumber into tiny pieces so it blends well. Then put the pieces into a blender or a bowl if you're using a blend stick and blend them until they're liquefied.I added some water to mine because it was mushy and gross...
When you've added the water, pour the mixture through a sieve into a bowl to remove all of the tiny bits that didn't blend because you just want the cucumber juice.
Then get your cotton pads and soak them in the juice and then squeeze. When you've squeezed them out put them ALL of the ones you made into a really big freezer bag or put two to four into smaller freezer bags.
Put them into the freezer and let them freeze over night. They're really handy because you can just take them out whenever you want to use them and they take only 10 - 15 minutes to de frost.

I normally get a pair out just before I get into the shower so when I get out they're ready,so I'm really refreshed.I also sometimes use these in the mornings for 5 minutes if I have time because they work extra good then so you're ready for the day.
I absolutely adore these and I'm going to continue making them because they're cheap and really easy.
I hope you j'adore these too!!!!
Le x
